Tyldesley RUFC is constantly on the look out for new players.

Tyldesley Rugby Club is located just 8 miles from Manchester city centre, 6 miles from both Bolton and Wigan and 15 miles from Liverpool. It is easily accessed by public transport with buses passing through the town centre on a regular basis and is situated only 2 miles from the nearest train station in Atherton.

With one of the best playing surfaces in the North of England and facilities to match we are the ideal club for players new to the area looking for a club or if you just want to start playing again after a few years out of the game or even if you are looking to start playing the sport from scratch.

We run 4 senior sides and and full mini/junior section. Our 1st XV play at level 7 of the RFU leagues, the remaining senior teams compete in the excellent and highly competitive University of Salford North West Leagues (formerly Miller Homes).

The club itself is vibrant, homely and close knit where new members are always made more than welcome. Whether you want to challenge for a 1st XV place or just enjoy a game of social rugby I'm sure you'll find Tyldesley will exceed all your expectations and cater for your needs.
